Taiwan Musician Jay Chou Enters the Metaverse NFT Market, Earning Nearly $10M

Following the NBA star Stephen Curry, Singaporean singer Lin Junjie and several other celebrities entering the NFT world by either purchasing or collaborating in NFTs, Taiwanese pop singer and musician Jay Chou has also ventured into the meta-universe, earning nearly $10 million.

On January 1, Meta universe platform Ezek and Jay Chou’s trendy brand PHANTACi sold the NFT project Phanta Bear (phantom bear) for the first time in limited quantities, with a maximum issuance of 10,000 and a unit price of 0.26 ether.

According to Coinmarketcap, Ethereum has risen by 1.86% within 24 hours. At press time, Ethereum was trading at $3,810.52. According to real-time prices, the total price of NFT projects on sale this time is nearly $10 million. It is currently the world’s number one artist concept joint NFT.

All 10,000 Phanta Bears were sold in about 40 minutes.

According to the official website, Phanta Bear NFT can also double as a membership card of Ezek Club. In the future, it may be used for preferential and preferential purchases of celebrity peripherals, obtaining discounts on trendy products, and as tickets for participating in celebrity VR/XR virtual concerts.

Ezek is a new generation decentralized entertainment platform created by Taiwanese manufacturer Starvision.
